The Old Market of Khan El Khalili, named after a Mamluk Prince Ja-Harks El Khili, 1380 AD, who started to build the area of the market. Furthermore, a chance to see the historical and Mamluk mosques and Musoleums dates back 1000 years. The Mamlukes ruled Egypt from 1260 – 1517 AD.
