The Great Pyramids of Giza, which are of Khufu (Greek name: Cheops), Khafre (Chephren), and Menkaure (Mycerinus), dominate the Giza plateau. The Giza Plateau is located about 12 km southwest of Cairo. The Pyramids of Giza were built by the Pharaohs of the 4th Dynasty, 2550 BC. They were a father, son, and grandson.
