Luxor is the Great ancient Thebes of Egypt, Luxor was the capital of Egypt in 2100 BC, when the Pharaohs of the Middle Kingdom 2100 BC declared it as the capital of the united Egypt  during the time of the Pharaoh Montu-hotep 2100 BC.
